BENEFITS:
Trampolining

There have been many medical studies performed to evaluate the benefits of trampolining, some by NASA! David Beckham used a trampoline for training balance and control, and athletes across all sports have highlighted the importance of this type of training.

Alongside learning the value of teamwork, perseverance, and personal growth, we promote physical development too, like these examples!

Stimulates Your Metabolism

Trampoline exercise has been proven to increase your metabolic rate, helping your body to process nutrients more efficiently. This helps to you keep your weight down.

Increases Oxygen Circulation

Increasing your pulse rate by jumping pumps oxygen around your body more efficiently, improving your heart, circulation and fitness levels, making you feel healthier and more alert.

Detoxify the Lymph Glands

The impact of gravitational forces on the lymphatic system means toxins are pushed out more effectively, leaving you feel fresher and more energised.

Improves Bone Density

The repetition of jumping puts the bones under repeated slight stress, helping your musculoskeletal system build up and improves bone mineral content. Over time, strength develops to prevent brittle bone disease, or osteoporosis.

BENEFITS: Gymnastics

Gymnastics is widely renowned as a sport that can improve overall fitness, strength, balance and body control, as well as helping to improve athletic performance in any other sport.

Many people don’t realise that extended participation in gymnastics classes also provides many additional cognitive and psychological benefits that will continue to benefit an individual throughout their life.

Social Interaction and Discipline

Gymnastics provides a unique and valuable social education and experience. It provides an ideal opportunity to learn about teamwork; sportsmanship; fair play and dedication. The time required to master the fundamental skills requires a great amount of patience, dedication, perseverance and planning.

Improved Mental Focus and Concentration

Studies show that there is a particularly significant relationship between physical activity and cognitive functioning in children (Etnier & Sibley, 2003) and with gymnastics covering such a diverse area, the cognitive application is important throughout the entire scope of activities.

Education and an Understanding of Physics

When an activity is naturally orchestrated to provide participants with unique and valuable learning experiences, it serves the participants better than any book, television show, or website. As time progresses, noticeable benefits in performance provide individuals with a high level of self-motivation and allow further enjoyment and progression within the sport. This pursuit of success indicates a “healthier” outlook on competition, an improvement in self-esteem and an understanding of the importance to function independently and be self-reliant.

Flexibility, Balance and Coordination

Flexibility and suppleness is vitally important to achieve the various positions needed to perform moves. Increasing flexibility can reduce injury and improve range of motion. Gymnasts with great coordination do not react with as large a “startle response” to sudden imbalances as non-gymnasts. Outside the sport, this means being better equipped to avoid hazardous situations by quickly identifying them and naturally correcting body alignment when walking, standing or jumping etc.
