Gymnastics

Progress, not perfection

Fun

We think Gymnastics should be FUN. There is so much enjoyment to be gained from learning new skills while staying active and making new friends.

Syllabus

All our Gymnastics classes work through our bespoke syllabus and awards scheme to ensure we provide the best tuition and educational experience.

Support

Our qualified Gymnastics coaches carefully plan and deliver each lesson, following a rota of rotating equipment setups to provide diversity in training various disciplines

Ability Based Gymnastics

  • Ages 4+
  • Foundation is bookable online
  • Intermediate & advanced classes are invite-only
  • Members work on skills on the Springfit Gymnastics Syllabus

Our Ability Based Classes all follow the Springfit proficiency award scheme where members can earn badges for progress and follow a rota of rotating equipment setups.

Our entry-level Foundation classes introduce kids to gymnastics in a fun way! They develop fundamental skills while enjoying a supportive atmosphere.

In our Intermediate lessons, participants refine their techniques and learn new routines. It’s ideal for kids who want to take their skills to the next level!

Our Advanced classes are tailored for experienced gymnasts looking to push their limits and prepare for competitions with expert guidance.

Youth Gymnastics

  • Ages 10+
  • Any ability level – bookable directly online
  • Coach-led, structured classes
  • Members work on skills on the Springfit Gymnastics Syllabus

Youth Gymnastics is a great class to get introduced to the world of Gymnastics, surrounded by a group of like-minded, mixed ability gymnasts, who all support and encourage others to achieve their goals.

The class is also great for members who have previously done some gymnastics and taken a break but now want to jump back in and pick up where they left off!

Squad Gymnastics

  • Invite-only
  • Additional class offered to our Advanced Members

By invitation only, our squad classes supplement advanced training to train high-level skills with tailor-made programmes.

Progressing onto moves such as flics, walkovers, handsprings and somersaults, our highly qualified coaches focus on building strength and flexibility while conditioning athletes to withstand the demands of these higher level skills.

Adult Gymnastics

  • Ages 18+
  • Any ability – bookable directly online
  • Structured Coach-led learning
  • Option to follow the Springfit Proficiency and Award scheme

Our adult classes are designed to offer every person, no matter how experienced, a chance to build on core aspects of physical development in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our Coaches will help you to do moves that you never thought possible!

Additional Information

  • Each of these classes follows the Springfit proficiency award scheme where members can earn badges for progress and follow a rota of rotating equipment setups to provide diversity in training various disciplines. For example, tumbling, acrobatics, floor skills, vault, beam and bars.
  • Each venue has a different set of apparatus.
  • Classes will always begin with a warm-up and stretch before moving on to both floor skills and equipment.
  • Ability Based Gymnastics: We require all children to start in our Foundation level Gymnastics classes so the coaches can check they are able to perform certain skills safely and consistently before being invited up to the Intermediate class. It can be as soon as the next week, but it’s better for their confidence to do it this way rather than start in an Intermediate class (where children do tend to be a bit older) and have to be asked to move down to Foundation if some skills need practice.
  • Members are invited up to Intermediate & Advanced level classes when coaches deem them able to perform the skills on the intermediate level lesson plans. Club Managers will be in touch to invite members up on an individual basis when availability allows
